SECOND T20 WORLD CUP 2009

HOSTING COUNTRY:

The 2009 ICC World T20 was an international T20 cricket tournament which held in cricket Birth place England in June 2009.It was the second ICC World T20 tournament, following the First tournament in South Africa in September 2007.

PLAYING TEAMS:

As before, the tournament system 12 all male teams nine of the ten Test-playing nations and three associate nations, which gained their places through a qualification tournament.

VENUE:

The tournament Matches were played at three England grounds there are Lord's and The Oval in London, and Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

PARALLEL TOURNAMENT:

The tournament was organised in parallel with the women's tournament, with the men's semi-finals and final being preceded by the semi-finals and final from the women's event.

WINNER TEAM:

The final Match held at Lord's on Sunday 21 June with Pakistan beating Sri Lanka by eight wickets same time England beating New Zealand by six wickets in the women's final Match in the T20 World cup.
